Jody Simmons, O.D., graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL with a degree in Biology and a minor in German. She then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry for her doctorate degree. Dr. Simmons is a past President for the Middle Tennessee Optometric Society and an active member of the American Optometric Association. Dr. Simmons chose to settle in Middle Tennessee so she could be close to family. Her husband was raised in Franklin, TN and she is originally from Southern Indiana. Dr. Simmons's special interests include ocular disease management, geriatric optometry, difficult contact lens fittings, and bi-focal contact lens fittings.
Jennifer Nance, O.D., graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN with a degree in Biology and a minor in German. She attended Indiana University School of Optometry and graduated with honors. Dr. Nance is currently an active member of the Middle Tennessee Optometric Society as well as the American Optometric Association. She has in intense desire to help others and provide the highest level of eye care to her patients. Dr. Nance is most passionate about pediatric optometry, sports vision, disease management including diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. As InfantSEE providers, Drs. Nance and Simmons see patients as young as six months old.
